When I think beach, I think of family vacations. It was a tradition growing up that we went to a beach every year. Carlsbad, California was our destination every summer until the one year we went to Mexico and decided we liked the warm water way more. This is a shot of my brother skim boarding from a few summers ago just before I left Colorado for school and he went to serve a 2 year LDS mission. He gets home in two weeks (SO excited), so I thought it might be fun to do an image of him this week. I like how high key this shot is, it is a little different then a typical action shot (and I used my new preset Bluebell which will be available this week!!) Happy Monday!

…to…. FALL SPORTS! Last night I was laying in bed with all these things racing through my head and I had this realization that the fall sports season starts in the next week or two, and BYU Lacrosse has their tryouts here in t-minus three weeks. Basically I am pretty dang excited to be back on the sidelines and am going to pick up some soccer and football games in addition to fall lacrosse. Hopefully this season the weather will cooperate (see image below to understand what I am talking about. This was my life all of last spring.) I might have to get some rain gear just in case…
