Adam and Christy: Spring and love are in the air

April 27th, 2010

I am lucky. Somehow I tend to always get super fun couples with great personalities, and Adam and Christy are just that, fun! You can tell they just enjoy being together, both of them are always laughing and are excited for the new road ahead. I think it’s great. Love , school ending, warm weather, and a wedding in t-minus a month and a half….. could it be any better!?

Luckily, despite snow a week or so previous to their session, spring decided to finally show up so we had beautiful weather and enjoyed wandering the streets of Provo in search of some fun locations. They wanted a more urban setting, but we also found some great spots right on BYU campus.

Tyler+Chelcie: Wedding Day!

April 20th, 2010

This wasn’t your typical boy meets girl story, they actually sort of postponed the meeting part for a few months. Tyler was finishing an LDS mission in Scotland when he and Chelcie began writing. She is a teacher for his niece, and family thought maybe it would be a match when he returned home. After numerous letters they decided to meet shortly upon him finishing his mission and were engaged a short time later. Sometimes that connection just happens, you immediately know when you meet that significant other. In their case it was quicker then most, but it was a match. If you missed their engagement or bridal sessions make sure to go check them out! We sort of got an interesting mix of weather in their images from snow to a beautiful spring day at the Timponogos temple.

I think this is a great shot to start out with, I am loving the red roses.

My Little Assistant

April 15th, 2010

Meet my little helper from the wedding I had this morning…

I ask him if he wanted to come and take pictures with me and he was super excited about it. So, I gave him my spare camera and let him loose. I totally loved when he would squat or lay down next to me to take a picture, it was so so so cute. We might have a few focusing issues to work on, however, he knew what he was doing and I was seriously impressed.

I love his pictures, get a camera in this kid’s hands STAT!
