Well, it finally happened. In the blink of an eye my little baby sister has grown up…

I shot Rachel’s senior pictures a few weeks ago which was nothing short of bizarre. She has always been different from everyone else. She’s the strong one, the one that stands out in a crowd and isn’t scared to stand up and shout her beliefs from a mountain top. I have always envied her for this, most people follow some aspect of what the crowd is doing, but not Rachel. Rachel is very unique, actually one of a kind is a good way to put it (honestly I hope I get a girl just like her…) I have vivid memories of her when she was little because everything she did was funny. She would never leave the house without her lip pop and a hair brush tucked into her little purse. She owned every single Barbie, Kelly doll, and Disney dress manufactured, but when you put her in a race or sporting event with a boy she would kick their trash. Whenever she woke up in the morning her hair was a tangled knot in the back of her head and it would usually take a bottle of detangler to even get a brush through it. She knew how to curl hair by the age of 3, and suckered my brother into painting her nails pretty much every Sunday night until he left for college. She is one of the funniest people I know, but also one of the kindest and most caring that I have ever met.
Where does the time go?! When did she grow up!? I am very proud of her and sort of have to brag since she never will. She has held a 4.0 throughout high school (the only day she has missed school besides illness was because of my wedding, thanks for the support p :) ) She’s been a terror on the lacrosse field making the National team two years in a row and has been one of the top defenseman in Colorado this past year. And the best part…. she has secured her spot on the awards wall at school next to my brother and I. She will be so successful in life and I am excited to see what the next chapter holds for her. Congrats P! Enjoy your senior year, I love you always and forever!
Love T

We had to include schoolbooks…. considering probably 80% of her time the last few years has gone towards that, the other 20% was sleep.

The many expressions of Rachel Baines.

This reminds me of when you were 5 in your snow white dress :)
