Things have been just a little busy recently, hence lack of blogging and lots of wordless Wednesdays… Winter seems to be a very popular time for wedding season for me. Denver is typically a pretty safe bet when getting married in the winter, most of the time you might have a little bit of snow on the ground and it will be 50 degrees outside. The thing I think can make Denver colder then snow or rain is the WIND. Yes, Denver can get pretty windy at times and I hate wind more then anything! It was very nice before these guys came out of the temple and then bam, wind right when they come out. We tried to move quick so I didn’t have a frozen bride for the reception! Congrats you guys! It was such a beautiful day.

Here is a peek into Colton and Richelle’s wedding which was held at the St George Temple in Utah. I have become a huge fan of separating the couple’s shoot together from all of the wedding festivities so it doesn’t get cut short by other things that are planned. Sometimes there is just too much added into the day, so doing their pictures together either before or after the ceremony or even a day after their wedding makes it so much more relaxed for them which results in natural expressions and lots of different options for them to choose from. We spent a few hours before their actual sealing doing their pictures together and were able to find a lot of great locations through St. George aside from just the temple. For those that have not had the pleasure of hanging out in St. George Utah in the middle of summer (I imagine it is similar to Arizona or Texas) it is HOT.
You guys, I am kinda mad at you :) Not really, but you’re both so great in front of the camera! I had such a blast shooting this wedding, the weather was gorgeous and we were able to shoot at some fantastic locations. These two are such a great couple (Zach you have found your perfect match.) I know these things because over the last couple years I have had the chance to get to know you almost as well as Jordan :) This was also confirmed when I saw you both at the reception with Will’s Pit Stop cups, you had found your soul mate!
