Have I mentioned how quickly I am falling in love with Provo, UT? I am not sure how there are so many fun locations to shoot at but I keep finding interesting spots and getting clients who are up for anything! These two, so cute

Josh + AshleyNovember 16th, 2011One of the best parts about my job is the many different people I have the chance to meet. In addition to portraits I am also a sports photographer and have been the official team photographer for the BYU mens lacrosse team over the past 5 seasons. It is fun for a few reasons (besides the fact that I LOVE shooting sports), 1. I get to hang out with Jordan all season long (which is nice since most his time during the spring is dedicated to it.) We share a similar passion (or obsession, either way..) with lacrosse and it just so happened he starting coaching right around the time I started shooting. 2. I get to know all the guys on the team pretty well (and their significant others for those that are married) which is fun because we have found some great friends. |

Colton + RichelleJune 27th, 2011This may have been one of my favorite locations I have shot at so far. In one word I would describe it as STELLAR. We had so many great buildings and places to shoot against that we could have stayed all day (if it wasn’t for the fact that is was raining and we were all freezing!) Well, this was a strange photo shoot for me in a way because….. my little brother is getting married. You see, I am the oldest and despite the fact that my siblings have obviously grown and accomplished a lot over the years, in my mind I look at him and see the curly haired four year old running around in circles in the backyard with a kite in tow just trying to keep it airborne. Time goes so fast. Luckily I think he has found a really great person to spend the rest of his life with. They are in their own world, (this tends to happen when you meet that special someone
