Nicole + Darren {Utah Wedding & Engagement Photography}

January 8th, 2011

I love when couples come to me with an idea of what they would like for their engagement session. When I first met with Nicole and Darren they had mentioned they though a rustic barn would be cool. Well, I know of a few barns but nothing was ringing in super rustic/grungy to me, the ones I know of are well kept. Somehow, they discovered this perfect location for their pictures. It was seriously the coolest barn. Probably the only downside to this day, it was a whole ten degrees warm standing in a foot of snow being patient with me for an hour and a half. Guys, I think it was worth it…

Maybe we can have matching prints of this cool place… I took this shot just so you could remember your awesome find. Then it turned out really cool and now I want a print in my office.

I’m impressed you guys even were able to jump…or move for that matter

Nicole’s idea (yes they braved sitting in the snow) probably my favorite shot :)

We did venture inside near the end… I wonder if anyone can guess this indoor location. I didn’t even know it existed. Once again, cool find.

Congrats!! I am super excited for your wedding!

Jared + Megan

June 14th, 2010

I love these two, they are super full of personality and are one of those couples that just fit so perfectly together. They met while in the MTC before leaving on their missions for the LDS church and stayed friends upon returning home. A few months later, they figured out that they just might be a match. We headed up to Sundance to take advantage of the scenery and ended on Utah Lake during the sunset. I am looking forward to their August wedding in Salt Lake!

Adam and Christy: Spring and love are in the air

April 27th, 2010

I am lucky. Somehow I tend to always get super fun couples with great personalities, and Adam and Christy are just that, fun! You can tell they just enjoy being together, both of them are always laughing and are excited for the new road ahead. I think it’s great. Love , school ending, warm weather, and a wedding in t-minus a month and a half….. could it be any better!?

Luckily, despite snow a week or so previous to their session, spring decided to finally show up so we had beautiful weather and enjoyed wandering the streets of Provo in search of some fun locations. They wanted a more urban setting, but we also found some great spots right on BYU campus.
