I have been so excited for this session. About a year and a half ago, I ventured off into what one would call the “real world” and started my first job at a photography studio. Crazy hours, a terribly long commute in insane construction, and the realization that I wanted to be doing photography on my own and not on someone else’s watch and I walked away and started making an effort to push my own business forward. The best thing I gained during this time? Aside from learning a ton, building up my immune system from dangerous kiddo germs (I swear they are worse then adults), and receiving a lot of experience, I came away with some really great friends.

Falling into winter…November 9th, 2011I always get a little nervous for sessions once we enter into November since Utah is kinda unpredictable weather wise and of course I keep hearing about snow we are supposed to be getting. And I keep lucking out, don’t get me wrong, I am not one to cancel sessions due to some white stuff falling from the sky. In fact it can make for some pretty great images. However I have been blessed with some great weather the past few weeks, and wonderful color. I shot in this location earlier this summer and it was gorgeous green but whoa! It was AMAZING once all the leaves had fallen. There were SO many everywhere. And here is the darling family and their newest addition, the little furball in the front. |
