February was the start of a very busy spring for me (I say spring because I am sick of winter and hopeful that is starts warming up sooner rather than later.) I kicked it off with a beautiful wedding in Vail last weekend, when making my travel plans I decided to drive instead of fly since it would only make a couple hours difference. Oh. my. goodness. I am SO glad I did because over 300 flights ended up getting cancelled due to a horrible snow storm in Denver that somehow miraculously by passed the mountains. So here Victoria is in the giant SUV I rented since I figured the roads would be bad and guess what, dry to Vail and dry home from Vail.

The last time Jordan and I had family pictures taken was at our wedding…. 4 1/2 years ago. It is a little ridiculous we have waited so long. And with a new addition joining our family in August it is time for an updated photo. Jordan wanted me to just set up a tripod, for those photographers out there who have tried this you know how frustrating it is. It is a pain, I always hate how I look, probably because I’m running back to pose before the timer goes off. So I found a photographer I liked, booked a session, and of course the day we are supposed to go it is dumping rain and snow. It has been 50 degrees all winter. HA. The worst part, Jordan had to wait for another week! He is SO excited for Saturday he can hardly stand it.
