Michael + Rachel

It was weird when my brother got married. Now my sister is getting married…. WHAT?!? I know she doesn’t understand why that is so crazy to think about but, as the older sister I still see her as this dainty little 3 year old with a messy knot of hair sitting at the top of the stairs after her nap. We just skipped a couple years right? Well, here she is being all grown up. I have to admit, it has been really fun having her get older because the older she is getting (and yes, unfortunately I am also getting) we have grown so much closer.

Brent + Kali

My goodness, this is a very busy year for the Harris and Baines families. Colton and Richelle were married this past August, Kali and Brent will be trying the knot in April, Rachel’s other half, Michael, will be welcomed in this May, Jeremy returns home from his mission in Mexico this June, and then Baby H will make his/her debut in August. Whew. It is very exciting to have all of these new people in our family, we just keep adding and getting to be even more awesome :) I am really lucky, I married into this wonderful family and I really love that I have such great relationships with everyone in it. Kali and Brent met in Denver this past summer and then he headed back to school at BYU this fall while she stayed in Denver due to work. They read books together while they were apart (thank you Steve Job’s for facetime, our family probably uses it more then anyone on this planet.) So when talking about their engagement session I knew we had to include the books somehow. Library=perfect. It might be the coolest building in Provo, has gorgeous natural light and goes along with their story that I really wanted to show in their pictures.

177 Days…

Well, I have been so bad about blogging the past few weeks. Wordless Wednesday has not even been making an appearance. Working part time and running a business while being pregnant is not easy I have discovered. And I better figure it out quick since the baby won’t make it easier :) I will say though, I am loving being able to do so much photography. It is exciting starting to focus in on that more and I can’t wait to continue growing my business. This post is a little more personal, but I figured I wanted to share my thoughts since I really enjoy looking back on them down the road. I have not written much about being pregnant, I figured today I would start because I want to put together a cute book I saw on Pinterest for my little one of random stuff through the pregnancy. SO, here I am, just about 15 weeks and so grateful to have one trimester down.
