Well maybe not literally, we usually stick to fishing with either my dad or brother or else we never actually catch anything, we did however escape to the mountains (Colorado Mountains) for a few days since we were headed to Denver anyways for some family time. We stayed at my family’s condo in Silverthorne, Colorado and took advantage of the fantastic weather and things to do. One of the best things of the trip… the Mint steakhouse. If you are ever in that area don’t leave without getting dinner there, it is amazing.

The view from our hike to a geocache… we are such dorks.

The Georgetown Loop! I remember doing a field trip here in forth grade (I had not been back since then so it was fun to do again.)

Glenwood Springs, our favorite hike of all time is here at Hanging Lake trail. Unfortunately the trail is closed all summer so they can renovate the boardwalk so we didn’t get to go.

Our gecko friend and a Cave tour. Let me mention I am way afraid of small spaces especially underground. When the tour guide started talking about spelunking and super small tunnels that you have to exhale all air from your body just to fit through, I wanted to be above ground again.
