Oriah & Michael {Utah Wedding & Engagement Photographer}

So who remembers Oriah and Michael, take a look at their engagements if you would like a refresher. Lots of laughter, fall leaves… in Oriah’s face, a dive into the biggest leaf pile I have ever seen, and pink rainboots.

As soon as I could see a forecast for their wedding day, I was looking at it (and realizing it would probably change five times before their actual wedding.) But December in Utah, who knows what the weather could do. We made it with good weather….. I had thought. The night before I was sitting in my house and it was dumping snow. As I drove up to Bountiful for the wedding, it was still snowing, the roads were a mess, it was freezing and I was trying to figure out how to help cheer up a potentially upset bride. As I walked into her parents house I couldn’t have met a happier girl. She was so excited. As she should have been on her wedding day. The day continued on and it turned out to be an amazing setting for their wedding. The snow falling was beautiful, everything was perfect, and they were happy to finally be together as husband and wife. I am SO excited for you guys, and honored that I was able to share this special day with you. Enjoy!

Oriah had her toenails done by her little nieces. I really wish I could have seen them before they were cleaned up a bit, she said the paint was all over the skin, dripping down between her toes. I love this shot of the makeup tray, all the little girls were practically drooling over it they wanted some so bad.

Here they come! These doors are so amazing, some of the details at the Bountiful Temple are just breathtaking.

The boots made an appearance again in the wedding, which was probably for the best considering all the snow there was.

My absolute favorite shot from this wedding. Their expressions are priceless.

This temple has an amazing atrium downstairs. It gave some really nice indoor shots. You know the feeling you get when there are butterflies in your stomach…. I had those when he reached up to kiss her. SO sweet.

Married!

Possibly my favorite reception center I have been to. It was set up beautifully and it was so open and light. Their cake was awesome…. it was a funfetti cake, how awesome is that!

The ring ceremony was beautiful.
